You don't need fancy machines or skills. MissTrang Coffee tastes amazing simply with a French Press. This brewing method preserves the natural aroma, creating a rich, smooth, and sweet cup of Robusta coffee. In just a few minutes, you’ll have a delicious cup of coffee to help you wake up and stay focused.
For the best cup, try a 1:15 ratio. This is the perfect balance to make MissTrang Robusta both bold and smooth for you to enjoy. Of course, coffee is a personal experience. Please feel free to adjust the strength to suit your taste. The recipe below is designed to showcase the true identity of Vietnamese Robusta and is balanced, easy to enjoy for most coffee palates.
What you need: MissTrang’s Vietnam Robusta Signature Coffee Beans (Medium Roasted) - 100% Pure High Quality Vietnamese Robusta Whole Beans.
Grinding size: Coarse.
Ratio: 1:15 (20g of coffee grounds, Vietnam Robusta Signature: 300ml of water).
Tools: French press, scale.
1. Rinse the French press and the filter with hot water to warm them up, then pour the water out.
2. Add 20g of ground coffee to the press. Pour in about 50ml of hot water and stir gently to wet all the coffee grounds. Wait 30 seconds for the coffee to bloom and release CO2.
3. Pour the remaining hot water in a circle, in a spiral motion from the middle.
4. Put the lid on, but don't press down yet. Wait for about 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
5. Slowly and gently press the filter down to the bottom. Make sure to use even pressure.
6. Pour the coffee into your cup immediately to avoid over-extracting (which makes it bitter).
Result: This cup of coffee stands out with rich chocolate and sweet caramel. The low acidity of the robusta beans eliminates sourness, resulting in a thick, smooth mouthfeel and a long-lasting, sweet aftertaste.

MissTrang stands out for advanced processing for nuance (de-stoning, color-sorting) that creates a remarkably smooth flavour without harsh bitterness. While more expensive, it offers the cleanest, most original and refined robusta experience for those wanting Vietnamese authenticity without the typical mass-produced robusta harsh notes.
