Why Robusta?

Ingredients & Tools:
• 50g MissTrang Robusta Signature (Medium-coarse grind)
• 500ml water
• Glass coffee server with lid, coffee filter bag, or fine sieve.
• 40 ml Fresh Orange Juice

• Ice Cubes
Part 1: Cold Brew Recipe
We recommend a 1:10 ratio (50g of ground coffee, Vietnam Robusta Signature: 500ml of water) and a grinding size of coarse or medium-coarse. This combination not only ensures a full extraction of the characteristic flavor notes of the coffee beans but also produces a smooth cup of coffee that retains the inherent richness of Vietnamese Robusta coffee.
1. Add 50g of ground coffee to a glass coffee server.
2. Bloom coffee. Pour 100ml of hot water (92-94°C) in a spiral motion from the middle for 1 minute and 30 seconds (use double the amount of water as coffee).
3. Pour the remaining 400ml of room-temperature water into the coffee server. Stir gently with a spoon to ensure all the coffee grounds are fully saturated. Close the lid securely on the server. Let the coffee server sit at room temperature for about 1 hour.
4. Put the server in the refrigerator. The brewing time for Robusta coffee should range from 12 to 16 hours.
5. After steeping for the complete time, use a filter bag or filter paper to remove the coffee grounds. Pour gently to avoid disturbing the sediment at the bottom of the coffee server.

Part 2: Step-by-Step Instructions For Making Orange & Maple Robusta Cold Brew
1. Pour the Base: Start by pouring 100ml of your pre-steeped Robusta Cold Brew into a glass. Adding the coffee first allows you to monitor the balance as you add other ingredients.
2. Add Zest & Sweetness: Pour in 40ml of fresh orange juice, followed by 20ml of sugar-free Maple Syrup.
3. The Master Mix: Use a barspoon to stir the mixture thoroughly before adding ice. Since there are no ice cubes in the way yet, the dense syrup will dissolve perfectly, creating a smooth and consistent texture.
4. Chill Out: Add ice last to chill the drink without over-diluting the flavors.
